Overwhelming Attendance at FSOTA Meeting
The second meeting of the newly formed Fractional and Shared Ownership Trade Association took place in a packed office on Friday 19th September in the City of London.
Following a welcome and introductions Piers Brown gave a short 5 minute update on FSOTA developments to date and encouraged all present to contribute their thoughts and views on how the fractional trade association should evolve in the future.
The aims and objectives were discussed at length, with contributions from both fractional developers and service providers.
Piers Brown confirmed that membership would initially be open to fractional property operators only, and if it was felt this should be opened up to include other fractional sectors this could be approached at a later date.
The definition of 'fractional' within the sector and membership criteria was discussed, together with contributions from Andy Sirkin and Eric Gummers about the benefits of developing a Code of Ethics that each member agrees to abide by on joining the association.
Other topics were discussed with considerable positive input from all.
